（3）Thickening: Polyacrylamide can play a thickening role, and when it is in a semi-network structure, the thickening will be more obvious.
Adhesiveness: It can play an adhesive role through physical and chemical effects.
2. The use method and precautions of polyacrylamide flocculant
（1） It needs to be prepared into a solution before use; neutral and low-hardness water should be used for preparation: water with strong acid, strong alkali, and high salt content is not suitable for preparing polyacrylamide solution.
（2）The dissolving water temperature during preparation is generally controlled at 18-40°C. When the dissolving water temperature is low, the dissolution rate will become relatively slow; the dissolution rate will be accelerated as the dissolving water temperature increases, but above 40°C, the polymer will accelerate degradation. affect the use effect.
（3） The stirring speed is generally 80-200r/min; the dissolution time is generally, non-ionic powder: 1.5h, anionic powder: 1h, cationic powder: 2h;
（4） During the dissolving operation, if the addition is too concentrated, it cannot be dispersed in water in time, and the problem of agglomeration (commonly known as "fish eyes") is prone to occur.
（5）When preparing, disperse polyacrylamide into dissolved water instead of adding water to polyacrylamide, remember not to reverse the order.
（6） Concentration of solution preparation In general, high viscosity products: 0.5-1.5‰, medium and low viscosity: 1-3‰
（7）Adhere to the principle of ready-to-use and avoid long-term storage of the solution to prevent serious degradation and waste.
（8） The prepared solution should be transported by low-shear pumps such as screw pumps and diaphragm pumps.
（9） Because iron ions are the catalyst for the chemical degradation of polyacrylamide, when preparing, transporting, and storing polyacrylamide, contact with iron ions should be avoided as much as possible; stainless steel, plastic, or carbon steel products with surface sprayed with resin should be used.
（10） When some products are used in combination with inorganic coagulants to treat wastewater, the inorganic coagulant solution should be added first, and then the polyacrylamide solution should be added. Do not reverse the order of use.
（11）This product is easy to absorb moisture, so pay attention to moisture-proof during storage and use.
（12） Operators should wear protective equipment; after skin contact, wash off with sufficient water.
（13） Pay attention to non-slip when cleaning and cleaning the leakage site.
