II. Ways of action of retarder on building gypsum
The setting time of building gypsum after mixing with water is 6 to 18 minutes. The retarder reduces the solubility of hemihydrate gypsum and slows down the dissolution rate of hemihydrate gypsum. The retarding ions are adsorbed on the surface of dihydrate gypsum crystals and combine these ions. In the crystal lattice, a complex is formed to limit the diffusion of ions to the vicinity of the dihydrate gypsum crystals, thereby delaying the setting time of the gypsum.
III. Use method
1. When using, mix the selected amount of retarder and gypsum powder uniformly, or dissolve the retarder in water, and then add gypsum powder until the dilution is moderate.
2. Scope of application and addition amount, the addition amount is between 0.1% and 0.3% for desulfurized gypsum, desulfurized stone products, desulfurized stone Yuji building materials products, phosphogypsum phosphogypsum products and phosphorite Yuji building materials products. Adding amount of gypsum blocks and gypsum board is 0.05%-0.15%.
