The flocculent concentration is0.1%, i.e. dissolve 1g of powder into 1L of water. First, add the powder in a small amount of water to dissolve it all, and then add the required amount of water. This is because the polymers dissolve faster in higher concentration.
The exact steps to dissolve the polymer are: Add a certain amount of water in the dissolution tank , stir it while adding the powder into the whirlpool. The spinning speed must be around 200 rpm to avoid lumps. It canbe dissolved within one hour
Tap water can be used to dissolve the PAM. Heating the water or working in an alkaline solution (pH 8-9) can accelerate the dissolution. Beware: the water temperature cannot exceed 50℃ as it might cause er polymer degraded, ruining the wanted result
